Padua Research Archive, is the scientific database of the University of Padova, it is an open access repository storing, preserving and publicizing the research outcomes of the Universtiy.

Padua Research Archive is based on the IRIS (Institutional Research Information System) platform, that has been developed by Cineca and, since July 2015, replaces the previous system, U-GOV Ricerca. The passage from one closed catalogue to one that is open to the public was eventually necessary and consistent with the national and international priorities tackling the dissemination of research deliverables, guaranteeing their widest access.
