Abstract:

Review of the magazine "Le Industrie Italiane Illustrate" and of popular publications concerning the relationships between industry, science and technology published during the First World War and in the immediate post-war period. The researcher must prove skills and experience in the analysis of the media, particularly about industrial photography. At the end of the research, an accurate iconographic collection will have to be provided, accompanied by technical and economic information obtained by the sources investigated, by archival materials and by the specific literature, in order to connect organically the different types of research developed in the project "Industry, science and technology of the First World War". The check on the results will be conducted after the first six months and at the end of the research by the scientific coordination group based on a report drawn up by the researcher and on the analysis of the iconographic and informative data collected.
