Nei giorni 7 - 9 novembre 2023 nell'ambito delle iniziative del DiSSGeA e in collaborazione con il Dipartimento Territorio e Sistemi Agro-Forestali - TESAF e UNIL - Université de Lausanne, si svolgerà la conferenza internazionale "Crossing disciplinary gazes on landscape: a cultural approach".

The issues related to the landscape are very relevant in the current historical moment of great change, in the context of the environmental, social and economic crises linked to climate change, the pandemic, the war. Looking at the past and present of landscapes through a lens transversal to disciplines in human and social sciences can provide new indications for study, interpretation and actions. A humanistic and social approach is needed together with the ones coming from natural sciences and technical disciplines, in order to address present challenges.
The seminar aims to reinforce the dialogue on the theme of the landscape between two research centers already active on this issue, to consolidate mutual collaborations. Through the cross-examination of different disciplines and approaches on the same issues, the participants will be able to explore new and innovative research directions on landscapes
