Codices Graeci Antiquiores

The project aims at performing census and critical study activities of all Greek books in the form of code, from the most ancient texts to the 9th-century ones, stored in Italian libraries. The CGA work is organized by territory. The project will primarily focus on texts stored in Italy, implementing a subdivision in three areas (Northern Italy, Central Italy -including Vatican City-) and Southern Italy). Each Task Group (Padua, Rome and Bari) will be assigned with one of these areas, which will lead to a fruitful collaboration. The project plan can be accessed on the pertaining link.
