New Arqus Mobility Window for Local Development students
A new opportunity for the Master's degree programme in Local Development at the University of Padua: starting from the academic year 2026-27, our students can benefit from a special Mobility Window at the University of Graz, Austria, as part of the Arqus European University Alliance.
The University of Padua, as a proud member of the Arqus Alliance, continues to expand its international offerings, providing students with unique opportunities to enhance their academic experience and global competencies. The Arqus Alliance, which brings together nine renowned European universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wrocław), aims to create a deeply integrated European inter-university campus, fostering innovation and responding to global societal challenges.
This new Mobility Window agreement with the University of Graz offers the following options for selected Local Development students (two per academic year):
- Sustainability and Innovation Management
The mobility window focuses on equipping students with the knowledge about sustainability challenges, as well as sustainability and innovation management. Theoretical insights are combined with practical applications in environmental systems, business innovation, and strategic decision-making. Students will explore sustainable development, eco-innovation, corporate social responsibility, and integrating sustainability considerations into organisational practices. Moreover, this mobility window fosters interdisciplinary collaboration. - Climate Change and Transformation Science
The mobility window is designed to provide students with interdisciplinary insights into the challenges of climate change and sustainable transformations. Students will explore concepts of transition management, sustainability-induced change, and the role of economics in solving environmental problems. This module ensures a comprehensive understanding of climate risks, change management, and sustainability practices.
The duration of the Mobility Window corresponds to one semester, which can be extended to a maximum of one year, and involves attending a set of pre-selected courses. The eligibility criteria/requirements and deadline are the same as those of the Erasmus+ for Studies programme. For more details on the Mobility Window, please check Moodle.
An exceptional, not-to-be-missed opportunity to enrich Local Development students' academic journey and contribute to the international competitiveness of European universities!
