The School takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Summer School aims at creating an international and highly qualified learning environment, which should allow participants to be actively involved in workshops and seminars and to experiment innovative ways of collaborative learning under the supervision of re-known academics and experts from different Universities and Research Centres.
The Summer School is promoted by the University of Padova – Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World, Italy and is offered in cooperation with the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning.
The initiative has been designed in the framework of the existing cooperation activities that partner institutions have undertaken in the field of cultural heritage in the past few years, dealing with its historical investigation as well as preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage as a means to foster local identity and development.
Course recognition and accreditation
For the University of Padova, Italy, the School will lead to the award of 6 ECTS credits.
At the University of Buenos Aires, the School is foreseen in the Argentinian University course offer as a C.A.P PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME | CURSO DE ACTUALIZACIÓN PROFESIONAL.
